Our aim is to empower families and individuals, create confidence and promote independence to those who need it through the compilation of information.
Know me, support me will give you a voice, remove uncertainty, and ultimately provide peace of mind to you and or your family.
who are we?
Know Me Support Me is committed to working alongside those living with a disability and their families. Our vision is to ensure the best support possible by providing all the necessary information in one complete plan to those who provide that support.
As a parent, I have spent many hours writing notes on how to safely support and care for my son. It is impossible to relay all necessary information to a prospective support worker in a short amount of time. Often, support workers can take months, or years to really get to know the specific needs of one person. Imagine the confidence that workers and parents will have in being able to have all the necessary information at their fingertips from the very beginning of their time together.
We will strive to empower families to say:
‘This is me, my child, son, daughter, teenager, adult. This is us and this is how we are to be supported.’
Know Me Support Me is based in Geelong and we are excited to be providing such a valuable service to the community.
